Senior Communication Project Manager

About the Role:

ELTA Systems, part of the Intelligence, Communications, Cyber & EW Division, is looking for a Senior Communication Project Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary communication projects in the field of tactical ground communications.

The Project Manager will be the overall authority responsible for end-to-end project execution, from planning and development through delivery and customer deployment. The role includes managing multiple projects, leading cross-functional teams, working with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery according to schedule, budget, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end ownership and management of complex communication projects

• Building and executing project work plans, managing schedules, resources, risks, and milestones

• Managing subcontractors and external suppliers throughout project execution

• Leading customer interfaces and ensuring successful project delivery

• Managing multidisciplinary matrix teams including system engineers, integration teams, R&D, production, and procurement

• Leading hardware, firmware, and software development activities, including complex system integrations

• Preparing and managing project documentation including SOWs, specifications, test plans, and reports

• Supporting continued business development and follow-on opportunities with customers

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Engineering – Mandatory

• 5+ years of experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in the communications field – Mandatory

• Strong knowledge of communication systems – Mandatory

• Proven experience leading complex projects in a matrix organizational environment – Mandatory

• Experience with cellular communication systems – Advantage

• Experience managing projects in the defense industry – Advantage

• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills

• Willingness to combine office work with field activities and customer site visits

• Willingness to travel abroad

• High level of English proficiency
