Director / Senior Manager – Databricks & AI Platform Lead

We are seeking an experienced leader to establish and lead a Databricks practice, driving the delivery of enterprise-scale Data & AI solutions. This role combines technical leadership, solution architecture, business development, and client engagement, with responsibility for building capabilities, growing a team, and delivering innovative data platform solutions.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a Databricks practice, including strategy, capability development, team growth, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Design and oversee enterprise-scale Data & AI solutions, including Lakehouse architectures, data modernization programs, and AI platforms.
• Lead the architecture and delivery of modern data platform solutions using Databricks and cloud technologies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and business leaders.
• Support business development activities and provide technical leadership throughout the sales cycle.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure the successful delivery of complex technology engagements.
• Mentor and develop technical professionals while fostering best practices and technical excellence.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, Cloud, or Enterprise Technology.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Strong expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL, and Lakehouse architecture.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Data & AI platforms.
• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Proven experience leading large-scale technology initiatives and cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working directly with senior business and technology stakeholders, including C-level executives.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology solutions with business objectives.
