Controller

We do not send reports from our office and wait for questions. We sit inside our clients' companies, next to the CEO, and operate as their finance department in every sense. We are now looking for a Controller who wants to manage, not report.

Who we are

We don't think of ourselves as a CPA firm that also does outsourcing. It's the other way around. First, we're a finance department for hire, the team a growing company would build in-house, if building one in-house made sense. Classic accounting and audit is the other practice under our roof, not the one that defines us.

Our team members physically arrive at the client's offices for full working days, sit next to the CEO, and run everything from the weekly cash flow to board materials. Our clients include Israeli subsidiaries of international corporations, venture-backed companies, and development centers.

The role

You will independently manage a portfolio of clients. You will not execute tasks that someone else defined.

What a week looks like:

• Each day opens with a management update meeting: what happened this week, what needs to close, what requires a decision. From there, ongoing work with the CEO, the internal finance team, vendors, and banks.
• Cash flow and budget: building, tracking execution, variance analysis, and presenting to management and the board.
• Closes and reporting: preparing financial statements, managing the audit process with the auditing firm, handling tax matters.
• The rest of the time from our office, backed by a bookkeeping and payroll team that works with you.

What you will not do here: you will not sit on one audit file for a year, and you will not spend most of your day on filing. You are the face of a finance department, not a link in a chain.

Who this fits

• A licensed CPA with an audit firm background (Big 4 or a mid-to-large firm) who wants to move from audit to the management side.
• Someone comfortable across from CEOs and shareholders, not only across from files.
• Someone who prefers owning an outcome over owning a task.
• Someone who understands that new tools are changing this profession, and wants to be on the side that uses them, not the side defending against them.

Whom this does not fit (said honestly, to save us both time)

• This is not a 9-to-5 role. Our clients are fast-paced companies, and sometimes an email gets answered at 10 pm.
• This is not a single-office role. There is travel to client offices and frequent change of environment.
• This is not a role where you tell a client "that is not in the agreement." We do not send clients to do things themselves. We do, and we bill.

Requirements (must)

• Valid CPA license.
• 1-3 years of experience post-internship: in audit, controllership, or finance management.
• Full command of IFRS and Israeli accounting.
• High-level English. Some of our clients report to parent companies abroad.
• Full professional Hebrew. Day-to-day work with Israeli management teams runs in Hebrew.
• Strong interpersonal skills. Here, this is not an "advantage"; it is a threshold requirement.

Significant advantage

• Experience with technology companies, subsidiaries of foreign corporations, or a Cost Plus model.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Priority, NetSuite, SAP Business One).
• Routine use of AI tools in professional work.
