Radar System Engineer

About the Job

We are looking for a Radar Systems Engineer to join the Airborne Systems Division at ELTA. This role offers the opportunity to take part in the development of advanced radar systems and, for suitable candidates, includes the option to undergo Systems Engineering training as part of the position.

What the Role Includes:

• Define and specify system and subsystem hardware.
• Prepare technical specifications for system components.
• Define and write test procedures and verification documents to validate system performance.
• Lead technical and engineering design discussions.
• Work in a cross-functional environment with Hardware, Software, Mechanical Engineering, and Systems Engineering teams.
• Present design reviews and technical milestones to customers.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors.
• Provide technical support to a variety of customers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering – required.
• Experience in requirements definition and system specification writing – required.
• Willingness to travel abroad – required.
• Experience working with hardware systems – an advantage.
• Experience in Radar Systems – an advantage.
• Willingness to work additional hours when required.
