Founding Engineer

A Stealth-mode Cybersecurity & AI startup founded by elite technological background entrepreneurs (IDF tech units) with a proven track record in high-scale product engineering. Backed by top-tier US venture capital funding through a substantial Seed round, the company is building its core engineering squad in Israel.

Requested technology platform targets AI Governance and GRC, providing enterprise security teams with visibility, control, and real-time policy enforcement over corporate AI utilization addressing one of the most critical challenges in modern cyber infrastructure.

Located in central Israel (walking distance from major train stations), operating on a full-time in-office model.

Role Description-

• Joining as a Founding Engineer reporting directly to the CTO, taking a central role in a core squad of 4 engineers with immense impact on product vision and system architecture.
• Solving complex engineering challenges around real-time data processing, pattern recognition, and scalable policy enforcement.
• Hands-on backend development using Go, working with Cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm), and integrating both local AI models and enterprise LLM APIs (e.g., Anthropic).
• Engaging directly with global Enterprise customers to collect product requirements, translate domain needs into architectural specs, and rapidly iterate on production features.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science / Software Engineering OR relevant technological background from elite IDF units – Mandatory
• 5+ years of hands-on Backend software development experience (Go, Python, Node.js, Rust, or C++) – Mandatory
• Background and hands-on engineering experience from Cybersecurity startup environments – Mandatory
• Fluent spoken and written English for direct customer-facing interactions – Mandatory
• Experience with Cloud-native methodologies, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) – Advantage
• Experience integrating AI / LLM workflows or building high-scale real-time data engines – Advantage
