About the Role

Join the core engineering team behind our U/S Mentor real-time simulation engine — the high-performance system driving 3D scene management, ultrasound image synthesis, probe tracking, and real-time physics.

In this role, you will build hands-on software infrastructure in C++20 (User Space / Windows environment), developing both from scratch and enhancing our existing mature engines. You’ll work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to translate complex clinical requirements into real-time, interactive surgical simulation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance C++ software systems and core engine infrastructure.
• Develop real-time simulation modules, graphics rendering, and 3D spatial calculations.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and domain experts to bridge medical needs with software execution.
• Write clean, robust User-Space code (Windows) while adhering to strict SW engineering practices (code reviews, unit testing, release staging).

Requirements

• 3.5-8 years of hands-on software development experience in C++ (Modern C++ / C++20).
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Mathematics from a recognized university — Must.
• Strong hands-on background in Windows User-Space software development.
• Proven experience/knowledge in at least one of the following:

3D Mathematics & Computer Graphics / Rendering APIs.

or Game engines (Unreal, Unity, Godot) or custom simulation engines.

or Military/Medical/Industrial simulator development.

Nice to Have / Advantages

• Prior background as a Military Medic / Paramedic or hands-on experience in clinical/medical environments (Huge Advantage!).
• Experience with soft-body physics, sensor integration, or spatial tracking.
• Familiarity with modern Git workflows, MSVC.
