Hardware Team Lead

The company is revolutionizing global connectivity by building a space-based cellular broadband network designed to connect standard, unmodified mobile devices directly via satellite, eliminating global dead zones and ground infrastructure limitations.

The company operates internationally with hundreds of employees worldwide, with around 100 top-tier engineers in its main Israeli R&D hub.

Located in central Israel (walking distance from major train and light rail stations), operating on a hybrid work model.

Role Description-

• Joining as FPGA Team Lead, direct management of 3 engineers combined with significant Hands-on FPGA development, architecture definition, and technical leadership.
• Driving complex FPGA system design, focusing on DSP implementation, High-Speed Interfaces, and Real-Time processing for satellite communication platforms.
• Leading developments and initiatives integrating AI capabilities into high-performance, edge-computing hardware systems.
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary System, RF, Hardware, and Software engineering teams.
• Hands-on laboratory Bring-up, Debug, and system-level validation for advanced communication payloads.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technological discipline – Mandatory
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in FPGA Design and Architecture – Mandatory
• Proven background in DSP (Digital Signal Processing) and High-Speed Interfaces – Mandatory
• Experience or strong background in team leadership / technical management – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience with System/Board Bring-up, lab equipment, and Real-Time systems – Mandatory
• Knowledge or experience integrating AI / Machine Learning acceleration in FPGA/HW – Advantage
