Job Description – IT Support Engineer (Tier 2)

Job Title: IT Support Engineer – Tier 2

Location: Yokneam & Tel Aviv, Israel

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer – Tier 2 to provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users across hardware, software, operating systems, email platforms, and conferencing technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience supporting enterprise IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and operating system-related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve escalated desktop, laptop, and peripheral device problems.
• Troubleshoot and support email systems and related client applications.
• Configure, maintain, and support conference room audio/video and video conferencing (AV/VC) systems.
• Assist users with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
• Collaborate with Tier 1 support teams and other IT groups to resolve complex technical issues.
• Document incidents, solutions, and support procedures in the ticketing system.
• Ensure timely resolution of service requests while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Tier 2 IT Support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
• Experience with email systems troubleshooting (Outlook, Exchange, or similar platforms).
• Hands-on experience with conference room AV/VC systems setup and support.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience working with ticketing and IT service management tools.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and support.
• Experience with enterprise collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).

Education

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
