VP R&D

A global software company is seeking an exceptional senior R&D executive to lead the development of its next-generation AI platform.

The company is investing significantly in artificial intelligence, intelligent automation, and new software experiences. The organization is expanding its use of AI across both customer-facing products and internal development processes.

The senior R&D executive will lead the strategy, architecture, development, and operation of a scalable, secure, enterprise-grade AI platform. This platform will support intelligent applications, automated workflows, contextual user experiences, and integration with enterprise systems and data.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming advanced AI concepts and early-stage prototypes into reliable, commercially successful products used by organizations. The role includes leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams across AI infrastructure, platform architecture and application development.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and R&D leadership.
• A strong technical background in AI, machine learning, and modern software architecture.
• Demonstrated experience building and operating enterprise-grade products at scale.
• Experience leading large, multidisciplinary, and geographically distributed engineering organizations.
• A strong understanding of generative AI and AI application architecture.
• Strong product orientation and the ability to work closely with product, business, customer-facing, and executive teams.
