Field Service Engineer

Join Elopak Israel as a Field Service Engineer and make an impact in customers' projects with your technical expertise!

The FSE will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and technical support of Elopak filling equipment and associated systems at customer sites throughout Israel. The role requires a high level of technical expertise, rapid response to customer needs, active participation in service projects, and close cooperation with customers to maintain production efficiency, product quality, and operational continuity. The position involves both planned service activities and emergency support, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

YOUR KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on filling machines and auxiliary equipment, including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades to maximize operational efficiency and reliability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and operators, assisting with production issues, training, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company standards, following all internal procedures and customer site requirements.
• Manage service documentation and equipment resources, including technical reporting, warranty claims, spare parts control, and communication of customer needs, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  
  

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial field service or maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of: Electrical systems, pneumatics, mechanics, servo drives, industrial automation, ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Basic PLC diagnostics capability (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen-Bradley or equivalent) is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and service reporting systems.
• Valid Israeli driving license to travel frequently throughout Israel.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required (availability for emergency customer support outside regular working hours).
