Role Description The Director of Resource Development and Fundraising is a full-time, on-site role based in the Haifa District, Israel. This role is responsible for planning and executing the organization’s fundraising strategy, including cultivating relationships with donors, foundations, and partners in Israel and abroad. Day-to-day tasks include identifying new funding opportunities, writing and managing grant proposals and reports, preparing fundraising materials and campaigns, and maintaining accurate donor records and documentation. The role also involves coordinating fundraising events, working closely with senior leadership on strategic priorities, and collaborating with educational and community teams to align resource development goals with program needs. The Director will regularly monitor fundraising performance, provide progress updates, and recommend improvements to ensure sustainable growth and impact.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in fundraising, resource development, or non-profit management, including relationship-building with donors and partners.
• Strong skills in proposal and grant writing, reporting, and preparation of fundraising and marketing materials in clear, compelling language.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with confidence engaging diverse stakeholders, both locally and internationally.
• Solid organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives in parallel.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when working with sensitive information and donor data.
• Fluency in Hebrew and strong command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Familiarity with Jewish pluralistic education, community work, or social impact organizations, and commitment to the Center’s values.
• Academic degree in a relevant field (e.g., Non-Profit Management, Business, Social Sciences, Education, or related disciplines) preferred.
• Experience working with CRM or donor management systems, and strong basic proficiency in office and collaboration software.
