• Managing the safety portfolio of the plant
• Implementing a safe work culture and safety procedures among managers and employees
• Promoting initiatives and processes to improve and reduce risks (safe work procedures)
• Identifying defects and safety hazards, and ensuring their regulation
• Performing risk surveys and safety inspections
• Performing audits and monitoring the proper functioning of employees' personal protective equipment
