Commercial Transactional Lawyer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Commercial Transactional Lawyer based in Israel.

This role offers the opportunity to provide strategic legal support for complex commercial operations within an international and dynamic environment.

You will play a key role in drafting, negotiating, and managing agreements that support business growth and operational success.

You will advise on contractual risks, corporate transactions, and regulatory considerations while ensuring business objectives are effectively supported.

Accountabilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including supplier contracts, service agreements, licensing agreements, distribution agreements, partnership agreements, NDAs, and joint ventures.
• Provide strategic legal guidance on commercial risks, contractual obligations, and compliance requirements under applicable Australian laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure agreements align with business objectives and support operational goals.
• Support corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations, through legal due diligence and preparation of relevant documentation.
• Analyze business strategies and decisions from a legal perspective, providing practical recommendations and solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in commercial legislation, regulations, and contract law developments.
• Manage legal matters independently while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with organizational priorities.
• Translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice for non-legal stakeholders.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial transactions, corporate law, or a related legal field.
• Strong knowledge of Australian contract law, commercial regulations, and business practices.
• Proven experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a wide variety of commercial agreements.
• Ability to assess legal risks and provide practical, business-focused recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams and business stakeholders.
• Previous experience working remotely or with distributed global teams is considered an advantage.
