Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a Cyber Security Methodology Specialist to join a government organization in Jerusalem

The role includes defining, implementing, and overseeing the organization's cyber security and information security policies, developing cybersecurity methodologies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the protection of enterprise technology infrastructure and information systems

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and govern the organization's information security and cyber security policies

Define and implement cybersecurity methodologies, frameworks, and organizational processes

Support and oversee the implementation of cyber security infrastructure and enterprise technology projects

Ensure cyber security considerations are integrated into technology initiatives

Lead activities related to supply chain security, business continuity, and disaster recovery

Perform methodological and technological governance of cyber security operations

Implement and maintain compliance with Israeli and international regulations, standards, and privacy requirements

Develop, maintain, and update organizational information security policies and procedures, including those related to AI technologies and cloud-based environments

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in Cyber Security Methodology, including defining, implementing, and governing information security and cyber security policies

At least 3 years of experience delivering a minimum of two projects focused on compliance with Privacy Protection Regulations or ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, or ISO 27035 standards within the last three years

At least 1 year of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)

At least 1 year of experience conducting cyber security audits

At least 1 year of experience with Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP), and Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
