Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a Cyber Threat Researcher to join a security organization in Tel Aviv

The role includes conducting in-depth cyber threat research, analyzing attack infrastructures, tracking active threat groups across Darknet and OSINT environments, and producing actionable technological intelligence

Key Responsibilities

Conduct cyber threat and attack infrastructure research

Track active threat groups across Darknet and OSINT sources

Perform daily intelligence reviews and search for information across open sources

Analyze social media networks and monitor emerging trends and events

Correlate information from multiple sources and extract technological intelligence insights

Write professional reports and provide actionable recommendations

Conduct infrastructure penetration testing using manual and automated methods

Research networks and identify opportunities for vulnerability exploitation

Develop automation tools and research support solutions to improve investigation processes and recurring tasks

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in Cyber Threat Research or Cyber Intelligence

Experience in at least two of the following areas: Network Research, Forensics Research, Penetration Testing, Incident Response, Systems Monitoring, or Cyber Tool Development

Hands-on experience with OSINT, Darknet research, and open-source information gathering

Knowledge of operating systems, information security, data communications, and network protocols

Experience writing professional reports and correlating information from multiple sources
