Cyber Automation Engineer | Central Israel

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a Cyber Automation Engineer to join a leading organization in Central Israel. This role combines complex cyber investigations, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, and advanced automation development to strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity capabilities

Key Responsibilities

Lead complex end-to-end cyber investigations

Perform endpoint and network-level Digital Forensics investigations

Analyze attack techniques, persistence mechanisms, and attacker movement across organizational environments

Develop automated response processes to improve cyber defense and Incident Response capabilities

Develop SOAR Playbooks and advanced security automations

Integrate security systems using APIs

Improve Incident Response processes and workflows

Collaborate with SOC and information security teams

Work with Python, SOAR, DFIR, API, SIEM, XDR, Cortex XSOAR, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, Cortex XDR, XSIAM, and Azure

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in SOC, Incident Response, or DFIR roles

At least 2 years of experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response

At least 1 year of experience developing SOAR Playbooks and security automations

Hands-on experience with Python development and API integrations

Experience working with SIEM, XDR, and SOAR platforms

High level of English proficiency

Israeli citizenship is required
