Systems & Algorithms Engineer

We are looking for a Systems & Algorithms Engineer to join the Airborne Systems Division at ELTA Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

The position includes:

• Conducting research and development of advanced methods and algorithms for the division’s products, from feasibility studies and concept development through detailed design, performance analysis, implementation, and system integration

• Leading Systems Engineering activities, designing new system architectures, and performing system-level analyses for advanced radar systems

• Working as part of a highly skilled team of algorithm researchers focused on the development of next-generation defense technologies

• Collaborating with representatives from the Ministry of Defense, customers, project managers, and Systems Engineers throughout the product lifecycle

• Applying strong systems thinking while maintaining attention to technical details

• Leading technical processes independently as well as within multidisciplinary engineering teams

What we’re looking for:

• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Physics – Mandatory

• Ph.D. in Physics – Advantage

• Strong systems thinking with the ability to analyze complex multidisciplinary problems while maintaining attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with engineering, research, and development teams

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
