Hardware Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Hardware Systems Engineer to join the Engineering & Systems Division at ELTA Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

The position includes:

• Leading the development of advanced tactical computing systems

• Defining system requirements and managing technical interfaces with multidisciplinary teams, including Hardware, Software, Procurement, and additional engineering groups

• Participating in system integration activities and end-to-end system validation and testing

• Supporting system architecture definition and ensuring compliance with technical and operational requirements

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle

• Contributing to the development of advanced defense systems with a strong system-level perspective

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – Mandatory

• M.Sc. – Advantage

• Knowledge and experience in computing systems, communications, or IT infrastructure – Mandatory

• Familiarity with radar, electronic warfare (EW), communications, or other embedded systems – Advantage

• Understanding of transmission and reception channel design – Advantage

• Experience in hardware development – Advantage

• Experience in the integration of embedded systems – Advantage

• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams

• Experience working in a matrix management environment

• Strong systems thinking with a broad engineering perspective
