We're looking for a detail-oriented Payments Operations / Reconciliation Representative to join a fast-growing gaming company. In this role, you'll ensure the accuracy and integrity of payment data by reconciling transactions across payment processors, banks, and internal systems.

You'll work closely with Finance, Engineering, and Customer Support to investigate discrepancies, improve reconciliation processes, and support the month-end financial close.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly reconciliation of payment transactions across payment processors, banks and internal systems.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, duplicate transactions and unmatched entries.
• Reconcile processing fees against agreed commercial terms.
• Verify settlement amounts received in company bank accounts.
• Monitor transaction volumes and identify optimisation opportunities with payment providers.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, Engineering and Customer Support teams to resolve reconciliation issues.
• Maintain accurate reconciliation records and supporting documentation.
• Escalate high-value or unresolved discrepancies when required.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close activities.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve reconciliation processes.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing reconciliation documentation.

Requirements

• CPA qualification.
• 2-4 years' experience in Payments Operations, Reconciliation, Accounting or a similar finance role.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience analysing large transaction datasets.
• Experience reconciling high-volume financial transactions.
• Familiarity with payment processors, banking platforms or financial systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
