Power Electronics Engineer

About the Company

We are looking for a development engineer who will deal with the development of electronic cards for power supplies, integration, electrical tests for modules, power supplies, validation, DC to DC and AC to DC.

About the Role

The role includes responsibility for all stages of development - from the initial design stage to the finished product, including performance analysis, optimization and laboratory experiments.

Responsibilities

• At least 5 years of experience in the development of power supplies and power and analog circuits.
• In-depth knowledge of the design of DC-AC, DC-DC, and PFC (Power Factor Correction) converters.
• Experience in the design of analog circuits - power amplifiers, feedback, transformers, and switching components.
• Ability to analyze the thermal and electromagnetic performance of power supplies and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce EMI.
• Full control of circuit design and analysis using simulation tools such as Matlab, PSpice, SIMetrix, LTspice.
• Experience working with advanced power components – Gan, SiC, MOSFET, IGBT.
• Ability to perform laboratory tests and experiments with measurement equipment such as an oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, and load tester.
• Mastery of schematic and PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro or OrCAD.
• Knowledge of relevant communication protocols such as CAN, RS485, I²C, SPI (for supplier control interfaces).
• In-depth understanding of power supply regulatory requirements (IEC, UL, EMI/EMC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – Power specialization preferred.

• 4-5 years of experience.
• Electronics engineer only.
• Experience/occupation in the development and design of electronic cards.
• Experience in power systems – Power, analog, DC-DC, AC-DC, PFC, integration, validation, analysis.
