The Security Manager works closely with the Director of Residences and the Residence Management team to ensure a safe, secure, and discreet living environment for all residents, guests, colleagues, contractors, and visitors. The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining all security operations, emergency preparedness, life safety programs, and security service standards while delivering a professional, welcoming, and resident-focused experience consistent with Mandarin Oriental Residences' legendary service philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all security operations across the residential property, ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, professionalism, and resident service.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve security policies, procedures, emergency response plans, and operational standards in accordance with Mandarin Oriental Residences requirements and local regulations.
• Oversee all physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, key management, visitor management, and security technologies.
• Ensure full compliance with Israeli security regulations, fire and life safety requirements, emergency preparedness procedures, and all applicable legal obligations.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, emergency drills, and incident investigations while implementing corrective actions where required.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Residences Operations, Housekeeping, Front Office, and external security providers to maintain a secure and well-managed residential environment.
• Manage third-party security contractors and ensure service delivery meets Mandarin Oriental Residences standards.
• Lead, train, mentor, and develop the Security team, promoting a culture of professionalism, vigilance, accountability, and exceptional resident service.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and continuous development of all Security colleagues.
• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, resident concerns, emergencies, and crisis situations while maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times.
• Build trusted relationships with residents, owners, colleagues, government authorities, emergency services, and external stakeholders.
• Prepare security reports, incident documentation, risk assessments, and operational analyses for Residence Management.
• Ensure all security operations reflect the privacy, discretion, and luxury service expectations of a world-class branded residential community.
  
  

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Security Operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial position within luxury hotels, branded residences, luxury residential communities, private clubs, commercial real estate, or mixed-use developments.
• Pre-opening experience within a luxury hospitality or residential environment is highly advantageous.
• Israeli citizenship is mandatory.
• Experience working with Israeli law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and local regulatory authorities is highly desirable.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Hospitality Management, Criminology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional security management certifications or recognized security training are considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of physical security systems, CCTV, access control, emergency response, fire & life safety, and security risk management.
• Experience managing outsourced security providers and contract performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with residents, colleagues, contractors, and external agencies.
• Strong decision-making, crisis management, and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
• High level of integrity, discretion, confidentiality, and professional judgment.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in accordance with operational requirements.
• Experience within luxury branded residences or internationally recognized luxury hospitality brands is highly desirable.
• Fluent Hebrew and English are mandatory.
