Aluminum Production Lead

Job Description:

Israel Shipyards is seeking an Aluminum Production Lead for a relocation assignment in Mexico. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing and executing production plans
2. Monitoring and Quality Assurance of manufacturing and assembly processes
3. Managing production supervisors and team leaders
4. Leading a small team of Israeli professionals and overseeing the work of a local foreign workforce
5. Supersizing contractors' work
6. Managing and supporting employees who report directly to the Aluminum Production Lead
7. Operating in a matrix environment, working closely with multiple internal functions and with the customer abroad
8. Leading and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safety

Essential Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree or Practical Engineering diploma in Industrial Engineering and Management or Mechanical Engineering
2. Fluency in English and Spanish, including the ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications in both languages
3. Professional experience in the aluminum industry
4. At least five years of direct people management experience
5. Experience working with multiple cross-functional interfaces
6. Proficiency in computerized systems
7. Willingness to relocate

Additional Advantages:

1. Former service in the Israeli Navy, preferably a graduate of the Naval Officers Course
2. Familiarity with marine vessels
3. Proficiency in the Priority ERP system
