Role Description The Warehouse and Distribution Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Arara, responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and outbound distribution activities. This role includes managing inventory accuracy, supervising receiving and dispatch processes, and ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time. The Manager coordinates staffing, assigns tasks, and monitors performance to maintain productivity, safety, and compliance with internal procedures and external regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve optimizing storage layouts, managing logistics partners, resolving operational issues, and preparing regular reports on warehouse performance, costs, and service levels. The position collaborates with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to support smooth supply chain operations and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in warehouse management, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution operations.
• Knowledge of logistics processes, transportation coordination, and basic supply chain principles.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), basic ERP tools, and standard office software.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and coach staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid organizational, planning, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of workplace safety standards and compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Relevant experience in a warehousing, logistics, or distribution setting; a diploma or degree in logistics, operations, or a related field is an advantage.
