Located in central Israel (walking distance from major train and light rail stations), operating on a hybrid work model.

Role Description

• Joining as Director of AI Innovation / Engineering Manager leading a multidisciplinary group of 9 AI Engineers, Data Scientists, DevOps, and Automation engineers.
• Managing end-to-end execution, task prioritization, architectural ownership, and production stability with 20–30% hands-on involvement.
• Leading the development of a conversational AI intelligence platform enabling complex data querying using LLMs, RAG, and Agentic Workflows.
• Providing technical mentorship, driving system design, and establishing AI engineering standards within a fast-moving, high-impact environment.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an exact scientific discipline – Mandatory
• 10 years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering / R&D / Research – Mandatory
• 5+ years of R&D management experience, including proven leadership of groups/teams of 10–20 engineers (prior role above Team Lead level) – Mandatory
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in GenAI / LLM / Agentic Systems adoption, including RAG architectures, Multi-step workflows, or Agentic frameworks – Mandatory
• Proven track record building and deploying production-grade GenAI or Agentic AI platforms – Mandatory
• Strong proficiency in Python development – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience with Cloud architectures (AWS / Azure / GCP) – Mandatory
• Background working in Startups, Innovation Centers, fast-growth engineering groups, or Cybersecurity firms – Mandatory
