Job Description

A leading bank in Central Israel is looking for a QA Automation & AI Team Lead to lead its automation team and drive innovation across enterprise testing processes.

This role combines people leadership, hands-on automation expertise, and the opportunity to build AI-driven testing capabilities from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the QA Automation team.
• Drive end-to-end automation initiatives across enterprise projects.
• Design and maintain UI, Mobile, and API automation frameworks.
• Work in Microservices and distributed architecture environments.
• Lead performance and load testing activities.
• Implement AI-driven automation solutions.
• Build AI capabilities for testing from scratch.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement across QA processes.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of software development experience (Java preferred).
• Experience leading automation projects or teams.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI solutions in automation testing.
• Experience with UI automation (Playwright – advantage).
• Experience with Appium.
• Experience with REST API testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps – advantage).
• Experience with JMeter.
• Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.
• Experience building AI-based automation capabilities – significant advantage.
