About the Role

A leading insurance company is looking for an experienced Senior IT Procurement Specialist to join its Technology Division.

This role focuses on leading strategic procurement activities across software, hardware, maintenance, and technology projects while managing complex commercial negotiations with local and global vendors.

You'll work closely with technology teams, business stakeholders, and senior management to deliver long-term commercial value and support enterprise technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement processes for IT products and services.
• Manage complex commercial negotiations with local and international vendors.
• Execute strategic sourcing initiatives across software, hardware, maintenance, and technology projects.
• Analyze commercial proposals and evaluate procurement alternatives.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and mitigate procurement risks.
• Collaborate with technology, finance, and business stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT Procurement within large organizations.
• Proven experience managing complex procurement agreements and commercial negotiations.
• Strong understanding of the IT vendor landscape, pricing models, and technology solutions.
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree – required.
• Experience working with ERP systems; SAP is an advantage.
