Head of Data & Architecture

COMBLACK is hiring a Head of Data & Architecture !

What You'll Do

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across Data, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Cloud.
• Define and drive the architecture of large-scale, data-intensive distributed systems.
• Lead the development of enterprise data platforms, data lakes, and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage budgets, vendors, and strategic technology roadmaps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across government organizations and enterprise environments.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of experience in software development and infrastructure, including direct management of at least two multidisciplinary teams (Data Engineers, Developers, Product Managers, DevOps Engineers, and QA).
• 5+ years of experience in Data technologies, including enterprise data platforms, analytics infrastructure, and cloud-based data solutions.
• Extensive experience defining and leading technology architecture for complex, distributed, data-intensive systems, including data catalogs and metadata management.
• Proven experience managing vendors, budgets, procurement processes, and strategic work plans, including KPI definition and execution.
• Experience working with government organizations or public sector environments, as well as strong knowledge of Data Governance, BI, AI/ML, and Agile, DevOps, or DataOps methodologies.
