Innovation Analyst (Student)

About the role

You will work directly with the Innovation Team at Energix, supporting development of internal technology projects, deployment of pilots, and supporting activities in Energix’s newly announced Energy Innovation Center (a partnership with Tel Aviv University). The role includes senior management, global teams, startups, and academia.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting technology pilots from defining needs, sourcing, to KPI development, to deployment, program management, and analyzing results.
• Supporting internal technology projects, including the company's data warehouse initiative and in-house autonomous drone program: mapping data and business needs, working with vendors, and driving development. A mix of product and project management.
• Supporting the launch and operation of the Energix-TAU innovation center: we are building from the ground-up – this includes everything from strategy to logistics to marketing to market research.
• Market and technology research: mapping startups and trends in solar, storage, grid, and energy software in the context of Energix’s needs and strengths.

Requirements

• Student (ideally in final year) in Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Availability for approximately 3 days per week (flexible)
• Drive. Hungry. This role is flexible as we are building something new. If you aren’t afraid to build from scratch and piece together the pieces of the puzzle this isn’t for you.
• Strong analytical skills; able to structure and summarize complex information clearly.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience in energy and/or corporate innovation – a bonus!

Employment Type: Student position, hourly, ~3 days per week (Sunday-Thursday, flexible around exam periods). On-site work from the company's offices. Potential to expand to full-time role.
