Engineering Lead / Fullstack Engineer – Angular & Backend

A fast-growing technology company is looking for an experienced Engineering Lead / Fullstack Engineer to join its core R&D team.

This is a unique hands-on leadership role combining technical ownership, people management, and end-to-end development. You will lead a small team of senior Frontend engineers, provide technical guidance, drive best practices, and collaborate closely with product management and leadership. At the same time, you will take full ownership of backend development, architecture, and building scalable services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tech Leadership & Architecture: Lead the technical vision for the team, design robust architectures, and ensure high-quality engineering practices.
• People Leadership: Mentor and guide senior Frontend engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Hands-on Development: Take ownership of backend development, API design, and system integration.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Leadership to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience backend development experience (Node.js / Java / Python or similar).
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular and modern frontend development.
• Proven track record of leading or mentoring engineers (as a Team Lead, Tech Lead, or Mentor).
• Experience designing APIs, databases, and scalable backend services.
• Startup mindset – high ownership, flexibility, and a proactive approach.
• Exceptional communication skills and high EQ.

Advantages:

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/GCP), Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with real-time / data-intensive systems.

Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
