About the role

Responsible for the day-to-day operation and administration of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases, including ongoing data extraction and ETL processes. Serve as the technical authority for development teams on database matters.

Responsibilities

• Operate and administer Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases day-to-day, including data extraction and ETL processes.
• Monitor database environments and perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Serve as the technical authority for development teams, defining standards for database structure, design, and access.
• Develop new stored procedures and optimize existing procedures.
• Apply performance optimization, performance tuning, and handling of high-load environments.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a DBA in Microsoft SQL Server environments, including the development and operation of SSIS-based ETL processes.
• Graduate of a DBA training course.
• Microsoft and Oracle DBA certifications.
• Previous experience setting up, administering, and maintaining NoSQL databases on-premises and/or in the cloud, such as MongoDB and others.
• Previous experience setting up, managing, and operating databases on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
