Creative Designer, Marketing

About the role

This is Genie's first creative hire, and one of the most important roles we'll fill this year. You'll build our creative from day one. Our brand, our video, and our visual voice are all still a blank page, and you'll be the one to shape them, not maintain someone else's system.

Genie is an AI content production platform for game studios. As we grow and expand into new markets, this role grows with us: you'll be a full partner in that growth, not a pair of hands executing briefs.

We're looking for more than a strong portfolio. We want hunger, grit, and drive, someone who brings real energy and wants their work to push the company forward. Video is our main content channel: product demos, feature launches, paid social, the website, conferences, and LinkedIn. This is a Creative role, not a graphic design role.

What you'll own

• Motion/video (≈50%): product videos, feature launches, UI animations, demos, ad creatives, short social clips
• Digital assets (≈30%): presentations, landing pages, banners
• Brand design (≈20%): building and evolving our visual language

What we're looking for

• Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
• Hands-on with AI video tools (Runway, Veo, Pika, Kling, ElevenLabs)
• After Effects at a high level; comfortable in Premiere / CapCut
• Speed: turn a new feature into a 30-second video within a day
• Performance mindset: build video that generates views, clicks, and demos, not just video that looks nice

What this role is not

• Not a classic brand designer
• Not just a digital designer
• Not "a graphic designer who does some video"

Who should apply

• Designers with 1–2 years of experience who've worked inside a team and produced marketing materials and video

• Senior designers open to part-time or freelance work
