Position Overview-

• Senior Backend / Software Engineer joining a high-scale R&D group responsible for building end-to-end data security and cloud protection microservices.
• Designing and implementing scalable, high-throughput backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and some Python.
• Architecting distributed systems capable of ingesting and analyzing massive volumes of cloud telemetry, metadata, and security events.
• Building event-driven architectures with Kafka, managing distributed data stores (PostgreSQL, Snowflake), and deploying services on containerized cloud environments (Kubernetes, NestJS).
• Collaborating with Cloud Infrastructure, Data Science, and Security Research teams to translate complex cloud threat models into efficient production software.
• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Software Engineering, Node.js, TypeScript, Python, NestJS, High-Scale Distributed Systems, Big Data Architectures, Multi-Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka), Container Orchestration (Kubernetes), Data Warehousing (PostgreSQL, Snowflake), CI/CD.

Requirements-

• 6 years of professional hands-on experience as a Software Engineer building production-grade backend systems – Mandatory
• Proven background architecting and scaling high-scale, big data, or distributed cloud-based applications – Mandatory
• Extensive hands-on experience with core cloud infrastructure providers – Mandatory
• Practical experience working with message streaming and queuing systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Pulsar) – Mandatory
• Solid background in continuous integration and deployment and modern software delivery – Mandatory
• Professional background or familiarity with Cyber Security, Cloud Security, or Data Protection domains – Strong Advantage
• Exposure to Machine Learning algorithms or data analytics pipelines – Strong Advantage
• Strong system design capabilities, problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-moving enterprise scale-up – Mandatory
