Java Software Engineer

Position Overview-

• Versatile Backend & Edge Software Engineer joining a core engineering group to develop next-generation command-and-control (C2) applications, real-time telemetry processing, and edge device communication logic.
• Writing production-grade code in Java and Python across both Cloud and On-Premise infrastructure environments.
• Building complex integration logic between cloud services, on-prem nodes, and tactical edge devices embedded on physical hardware.
• Partnering with Computer Vision, AI, and Embedded teams to deploy algorithmic pipelines and video streaming features directly to operational endpoints.
• Solving complex architectural, networking, and low-latency throughput challenges in high-stakes environments.
• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Backend Development, Java, Python, Command & Control (C2) Systems, Edge Computing, IoT Systems, Cloud & On-Premise Architectures, Linux, Video Streaming Protocols, Computer Vision Integration.

Requirements

• 4 years of hands-on backend software engineering experience using at least one modern language (Java, Python, Scala, Kotlin, or Go) – Mandatory
• Deep operational fluency in Linux OS environments – Mandatory
• Proven background building and deploying scalable SaaS / Cloud architectures – Mandatory
• Practical experience working with Edge Devices, IoT platforms, or low-level embedded hardware integration – Strong Advantage
• Experience with video streaming protocols, low-latency telemetry, or network communication layers – Strong Advantage
• Prior hands-on experience in On-Premise deployments or hybrid enterprise cloud architectures – Strong Advantage
• Prior background in low-level (LL) / embedded (EM) engineering or systems programming – Strong Advantage
• Strong problem-solving mindset, technical adaptability, and passion for working on complex hardware-software platforms – Mandatory
