Software Engineer Team Lead

Position Overview-

• Full-Stack Software Team Lead managing a core engineering squad of 5 developers through both direct and matrix management structures.
• Maintaining a 40% hands-on coding footprint using modern Python and React stacks.
• Driving end-to-end technical execution, architectural decisions, and system scaling for high-throughput SaaS applications.
• Partnering closely with Product Management, Design, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver complex features from inception to deployment.
• Mentoring team members, conducting code reviews, establishing best engineering practices, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Full-Stack Engineering Management, Python, React, B2B/B2C SaaS Platforms, Microservices Architecture, Database Systems (Relational & NoSQL), Message Queues, System Design & Architecture, Distributed Systems.

Requirements-

• 5+ years of hands-on professional experience developing high-scale frontend and backend systems – Mandatory
• 2+ years of proven leadership experience as a Software Team Lead managing developers – Mandatory
• Strong technical background and hands-on production proficiency in Python and React – Mandatory
• Broad technical versatility across diverse architecture patterns, queuing systems, and database topologies – Mandatory
• Deep understanding of architectural trade-offs, scalability bottlenecks, and clean software design – Mandatory
• Demonstrated track record leading cross-team technical initiatives and collaborating with non-engineering stakeholders – Mandatory
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills in English and Hebrew – Mandatory
