Principal Software Engineer

Located in Tel Aviv right on the train line, operating on a hybrid work model with 2 days WFH per week.

Role Description-

• Joining as a Senior Technical Lead / Backend Principal Engineer, with the flexibility to focus on Backend-only or Full-Stack development.
• Serving as a key technical focal point across multiple engineering teams, aligning work methodologies, and driving cross-functional architectural design.
• Tackling massive data processing challenges and building high-throughput, low-latency cloud infrastructure.
• Designing and implementing scalable microservices and event-driven systems using Python, AWS, and modern cloud technologies.

Requirements

• 10 years of hands-on software development experience (open to strong backgrounds in Java, Scala, Kotlin, Clojure, or Python) – Mandatory
• Proven experience in system architecture and high-level software design – Mandatory
• Solid production experience building and deploying on Cloud platforms (AWS) – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and AWS messaging/data services (SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, Kinesis, S3, Lambda) – Mandatory
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) – Advantage
• Hands-on experience with React (for Full-Stack track) – Advantage
