About The Role

We are looking for an inventive, detail-oriented Senior Product Designer to join our Tel Aviv team. Reporting to the VP of Product, you will own the design of Rhino's Federated Computing Platform (FCP) end to end — from the first interaction a data scientist has with a federated workflow to the operational dashboards IT administrators rely on every day — taking work from a rough problem through wireframes, prototypes, and shipped features.

Day to day, this means designing multi-step technical workflows for data scientists, biostatisticians, IT administrators, and risk SMEs who need to make sense of what's happening across sites they can't directly see into — a problem that's less about clean screens and more about making a genuinely complex system legible and trustworthy. You will partner closely with Product and embed deeply with Engineering, own and scale the design system, and set the standard for how the platform looks, feels, and behaves — across the GUI, developer-facing surfaces, and emerging agentic AI workflows. You will work alongside a peer designer based in the United States, with design strategy coordinated through the VP Product.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Design Ownership: Take product design initiatives from concept through wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and shipped features across FCP — working hand-in-hand with developers daily, participating in standups and technical discussions to ensure feasibility, streamline handoffs, and maintain UX quality through implementation.
• Design System Stewardship: Own and evolve the Rhino FCP design system — components, tokens, patterns, and documentation, including Code Connect — ensuring consistency and scalability across all platform surfaces as the product and team grow.
• Persona-Driven Design: Design end-to-end experiences for three distinct personas: data scientists managing federated AI workflows and agents; system and IT administrators deploying and operating platform nodes; and data owners and risk SMEs governing and auditing access to sensitive assets.
• Simplify Complex Workflows: Craft intuitive, elegant interfaces for data pipeline orchestration, node management, and privacy governance — transforming sophisticated technical processes into seamless, approachable user experiences.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with product managers during early discovery to shape requirements, and work closely with engineering and business stakeholders so design decisions account for both technical feasibility and business goals.
• User Research & Validation: Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions, incorporating findings into iterative improvements.
• Data Visualization: Design legible, actionable dashboards and charts for complex federated metrics and model performance data.
• AI-Augmented Design: Explore and apply generative AI design tooling — including Figma Make, Claude, v0, and Cursor — to accelerate design velocity and raise the quality of how design gets shipped.
  
  

• Experience: 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, with a proven track record designing for complex, data-intensive, or AI/ML platforms.
• Engineering Alignment: Demonstrated track record of working closely with engineering in an agile environment, from early product discovery through daily development and delivery.
• Figma Expertise: Deep mastery of Figma, including component libraries, auto-layout, variables, Code Connect, and rapid prototyping.
• Design System Ownership: Proven ability to build, maintain, and scale a design system across a growing product.
• Frontend Fluency: Enough frontend fluency (HTML/CSS, React fundamentals) to have real, informed conversations with engineers about feasibility.
• Systems Thinking: Ability to design for multiple user types with distinct mental models within a single, complex platform.
• Communication & Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking and trade-off judgment, not just visual polish, and the ability to articulate and defend decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Startup Experience: Experience working in a startup or fast-growing technology company.
• Location: Based in Tel Aviv, Israel (hybrid work environment).
  
  

• Background designing for data science, MLOps, developer tools, or infrastructure — or for technical/expert audiences in healthtech or fintech — where the user is technical and the workflows are complex.
• Experience with agentic AI concepts and designing AI-assisted or AI-driven workflows.
• Strong portfolio in data visualization and complex dashboard design.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI design tools such as Figma Make, v0, Claude, or Cursor.
• Experience collaborating across time zones with distributed product and design teams.
