Senior Software QA Engineer

Summary
Our team is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Software QA Engineer who is passionate about

delivering exceptional product quality. In this role, you will work closely with software engineers and cross

functional teams to validate complex products that combine software, hardware, backend services, mobile

applications, and cloud infrastructure.

Description
We are looking for someone who enjoys understanding complex systems, can quickly move between software, hardware, and infrastructure, and takes ownership of quality from feature design through customer delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards before they reach our customers.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality effort for features and projects from design through release
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and validation strategies
• Validate software functionality across backend services, mobile applications, desktop applications, and
• hardware components
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and system-level testing
• Investigate, reproduce, and triage complex software and hardware issues
• Analyze logs, system behavior, and test results to identify root causes and clearly communicate findings
• Work with databases to validate data integrity and troubleshoot backend issues
• Use command line tools and shell environments to validate systems and investigate failures
• Execute and monitor automated test suites, analyze failures, and work with developers to determine root causes
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and execution quality
• Continuously improve testing methodologies, processes, and product quality
• Always consider the customer experience and the overall impact of product quality
  
  

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Experience testing complex software and hardware systems, including embedded devices
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to independently lead testing efforts for complex features and projects
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Passion for building high-quality products and continuously improving the customer experience
  
  

• Experience with mobile application testing (iOS preferred)
• Experience working with command line environments (Linux/macOS preferred)
• Experience working with REST/API testing and databases (SQL)
• Experience working with CI/CD environments
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript
