Android Developer

Join one of Israel’s leading investment firms and take part in developing advanced mobile solutions for the finance and stock-trading industry. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative features for the company’s mobile application. You will work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that support both user needs and business objectives.

This is a dynamic and impactful role in a fast-paced technological environment, combining hands-on Android development, technical problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and direct influence on a core financial product.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop advanced Android application features from concept through production.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and technical specifications.
• Write robust, scalable, and maintainable code in accordance with development best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, stability, and usability.
• Integrate the Android application with back-end services using RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth application operation.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high development standards.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and development practices.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Android application development- Must
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and/or Kotlin- Must
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools- Must
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web technologies- Must
• Solid understanding of software design patterns and application architecture principles- Must
• Experience with or familiarity with Jetpack Compose- Must
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field- Must
• Experience working in Agile development environments, such as Scrum or Kanban- Advantage
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks- Advantage
• Contributions to open-source projects or active involvement in the developer community- Advantage
