Ophir an MKS Brand is looking for a buyer that will be responsible to control and monitor the purchasing activities, work with all the suppliers, handle contract Manufacturer, subcontractors, cost reduction and on time delivery metric. You will work closely with the teams in the company.

We are looking for an exceptional Sr. Buyer who can…

• Issue purchase orders to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate prices, delivery dates, terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain an accurate and updated AVL.
• Support R&D and OPS demand.
• Transform MRP purchase demands (PD) to purchase orders.
• Meet OTD (On Time Delivery) goal. Analyze and make constant improvement.
• Perform a daily/weekly open purchase orders’ follow-up.
• Set Cost Reduction goal and meet it.
  
  

• Experience in procurement of optical, mechanical, and electronical parts.
• Vast and proven knowledge in procurement and logistics.
• Strong analytical and technical skills (a problem solver).
• Strong leadership skills and motivation.
• Negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Build strong relationships within the company, team player.
• Excellent communication skills with suppliers and subcontractors
• Knowledge in ERP system - a must, Priority – an advantage.
• High level English (speaking, writing, and reading) – a must.
