What You’ll Do?

• Lead, mentor and grow the NPI engineering team, and establish the methodologies, standards and processes it operates by.
• Own the NPI project portfolio, including priorities, resources, Gantt schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, escalation and recovery plans.
• Personally lead selected projects from design transfer through pilot production, ramp-up and stable mass production.
• Drive DFM/DFA, production readiness and manufacturing validation, including drawings, BOMs, work instructions, tooling, fixtures and test equipment.
• Lead root-cause problem-solving and drive improvements in yield, quality, cycle time, capacity and process stability.
• Partner with R&D, Quality, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain and external manufacturing partners.
• Lead production-line setup, transfer, ramp-up and stabilization activities in China in collaboration with local engineering and manufacturing teams.

What You Bring?

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering — mandatory.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, with a strong and proven professional background specifically in NPI and industrialization.
• 3+ years of direct management experience leading an NPI engineering team.
• Proven success taking complex electromechanical products — combining mechanics, electronics, assembly and testing — from development to stable mass production.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production-line setup, tooling, fixtures and test equipment.
• Hands-on proficiency in SolidWorks, including the ability to review and update mechanical models and production drawings.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers, suppliers and international production sites.
• Strong multi-project management skills using structured project plans, Gantt schedules, milestones and risk management.
• Strong technical problem-solving, decision-making and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with willingness to travel to China as required.
• Practical knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, DFX and GD&T — an advantage.
