Role Description The OT Architect role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel. The OT Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining operational technology architectures that support mission-critical systems and infrastructure within the IAF. Day-to-day activities include defining architectural frameworks, collaborating with software development teams on OT solutions, and ensuring seamless integration between systems and platforms. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, documenting architectural standards, overseeing implementation efforts, and monitoring system performance and security. The OT Architect also contributes to continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies, optimizing existing architectures, and supporting long-term modernization initiatives.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills, with experience defining scalable, secure, and reliable OT system architectures.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including understanding of development lifecycles, coding best practices, and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Candidates should possess Integration skills, with proven ability to connect heterogeneous systems, platforms, and interfaces in complex operational environments.
• Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, risk management, and delivery of technical projects on schedule.
• Experience with operational technology (OT), industrial control systems, or mission-critical defense systems is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure architecture design for OT environments is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Relevant academic background in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced studies or certifications in architecture or systems engineering are a plus.
