AutoCAD Software Developer

A leading infrastructure company is looking for an AutoCAD Software Developer to join a team responsible for developing and maintaining mission-critical engineering applications used for electrical network planning and design.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain AutoCAD-based software applications for electrical network planning

• Develop complex software components and engineering design solutions

• Create and maintain electrical network drawings in accordance with engineering specifications

• Develop interfaces with enterprise and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and software maintenance

• Work with Oracle databases and SQL to support application functionality

• Collaborate with software developers, system analysts, and engineering teams throughout the software lifecycle

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (alternative educational backgrounds will also be considered)

• At least 2 years of experience developing AutoCAD-based applications, including electrical network drawings - MUST

• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL – MUST

• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting complex software applications

• Experience developing interfaces with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

• Experience in the utilities, energy, telecommunications, water, gas, or other infrastructure industries – advantage
