Assistant Controller

As our platform grows and our services expand, we are looking for a talented Assistant Controller to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated CPA to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-growing fintech and banking environment.An empty job that is used for creating requisitions 'from scratch'

Your Day-to-Day:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Assist in regulatory and financial reporting processes.
• Support the preparation of management reports and analytical reviews.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and other finance-related projects.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and financial control activities.
  
  

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – must.
• 2+ years of experience following internship (post-internship experience).
• Experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• High level of English, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

• Experience in the banking, fintech, or financial services industry.
• Familiarity with IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle or SAP.
• Experience with regulatory reporting processes.
• Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools – an advantage.
