Backend Developer

An established hardware-software company that designs and manufactures advanced smart energy analytics, power monitoring devices, and grid optimization systems. Their platforms enable industrial, energy, and infrastructure clients globally to monitor, analyze, and maximize the efficiency of heavy electrical networks.

The R&D and manufacturing hub is based in the north (fully accessible via a short walk from a major train station), operating under a full-time, on-site office model.

Position Overview-

• Lead / Principal Backend Engineer (#C / .NET) joining a core R&D group to design and scale high-performance data processing software running across both Windows and Linux deployments.
• Architecting resilient backend pipelines, building robust APIs, and handling system-level integration with proprietary hardware endpoints.
• Writing performance-critical, low-latency code optimized for multi-threading, network socket communications, and heavy file-system operations.
• Embedding modern AI-assisted development tools directly into the daily workflow to accelerate code generation, refactoring, automated testing, and technical documentation.
• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Backend Development, C# / .NET, Cross-Platform (Windows & Linux), Multi-threading, Network Programming, High-Performance Applications, AI-Assisted Engineering (Copilot/Similar), Git.

Requirements-

• 10+ years of robust, hands-on professional experience dedicated to backend software engineering – Mandatory
• Deep, expert-level technical command of #C / .NET development – Mandatory
• Proven background deploying and maintaining production software across both Windows and Linux environments – Mandatory
• Extensive practical experience handling performance-sensitive architectures: Multi-threading, asynchronous programming, network protocols, and high-throughput file systems – Mandatory
• Demonstrated experience utilizing AI-assisted development utilities within the R&D workflow (e.g., code generation, debugging support, structural refactoring, technical documentation) – Mandatory
• Strong foundational grasp of system integration, backend architectural patterns, and API design – Mandatory
• Full lifecycle proficiency working with modern version control systems (specifically Git), testing automation, and release flows – Mandatory
