Electronic Soldering Technician (IPC Class 3)

Role Description This full-time, on-site Electronic Soldering Technician (IPC Class 3) role is based in Yarka. The technician is responsible for performing high-reliability soldering on PCBs and electronic assemblies in accordance with IPC Class 3 standards and company quality procedures. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, preparing components, soldering through-hole and surface mount parts, and inspecting work for defects or nonconformities. The role also involves collaborating with production and quality teams, documenting work performed, and reporting issues or process deviations. The technician is expected to maintain a clean, organized work area, follow ESD and safety guidelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of assembly processes.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong practical skills in Soldering, including SMT and THT, with proven ability to work to IPC Class 3 standards.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electronics Technology and Electricity to understand circuit behavior and component functionality.
• Candidates should possess abilities in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair to identify faults, correct defects, and support production continuity.
• Candidates should possess attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work with small components under magnification.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with ESD controls, quality inspection methods, and safe handling of electronic assemblies.
• Relevant experience in electronic manufacturing or assembly environments is beneficial; IPC certification or equivalent training is an advantage.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and English-language documentation is beneficial.
