AI Engineer

A fast-growing B2B SaaS enterprise developing an advanced, AI-driven platform for enterprise workforce management, operations optimization, and smart organizational automation.

The company is completely revenue-generating with strong, multi-million dollar annual recurring revenue, and was founded by highly experienced serial tech entrepreneurs. The organization maintains a scaling global footprint with its core R&D division based locally.

The corporate R&D center is situated in a highly accessible central technology hub in Central Tel Aviv (directly adjacent to the main rail network), operating under a flexible hybrid model providing 1 day of remote work per week.

Position Overview-

• Senior AI Backend & Infrastructure Engineer (End-to-End Ownership) serving as a primary technical pillar to design, build, and deploy the company's next-generation AI and automation infrastructure from scratch.
• Architecting scalable, high-throughput backend services and complex distributed Microservices environments utilizing modern languages (such as Go / Golang and TypeScript).
• Owning the lifecycle of cutting-edge Agentic AI systems, workflow automation, and LLM orchestration layers embedded directly into the core product line.
• Designing resilient cloud infrastructure, real-time message queues, high-scale database topologies, and shared backend tooling.
• Partnering closely with Product Management and DevOps teams to translate complex business logics into high-performance, cost-effective production realities with absolute system ownership.
• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Agentic AI Workflows, Autonomous AI Agents, LLM Orchestration & RAG Architectures, Distributed Microservices, High-Scale SaaS Platforms, Backend Infrastructure Engineering, Go (Golang), TypeScript, Cloud-Native Systems, Message Queues.

Requirements-

• 6+ years of robust professional experience dedicated to backend software engineering with a strong emphasis on core system architecture and infrastructure development – Mandatory
• Hands-on AI Expertise: Demonstrated, verifiable professional experience building and deploying complex Agentic AI systems, workflow automation, or autonomous AI agents inside live Production environments – Mandatory
• Extensive, production-grade experience designing, constructing, and troubleshooting highly distributed systems and complex Microservices topologies – Mandatory
• Startup Background: At least 1+ years of proven experience working within an active startup environment (SU), demonstrating tech-agility and a high-ownership mindset – Mandatory
• Polyglot mindset or professional proficiency in modern backend environments (with a readiness to develop within Go and TypeScript; prior language syntax is flexible) – Mandatory
• Strong practical command of cloud environments, container orchestration, modern databases, and message queuing systems – Mandatory
