Java Software Engineer

The main Israeli R&D campus is located in a highly accessible central tech hub in the Central District (directly on the train line), operating under a hybrid model with 1 day of remote work per week.

Position Overview-

• Senior Embedded Java / Systems Software Engineer joining a core, multidisciplinary engineering squad reporting directly to the Software Team Leader.
• Researching, designing, and maintaining complex platform flows, low-level device drivers, and abstraction layers that interface directly with highly complex physical machinery.
• Partnering closely with multi-disciplinary hardware engineering teams, including Electronics (HW), FPGA design, and System Architecture, to integrate software with raw electrical components into a seamless, high-performance product.
• Taking end-to-end technical ownership over features running on advanced physical testing and manufacturing machinery, ensuring absolute structural safety, precision, and efficiency.
• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment, Multidisciplinary Systems Engineering, Device Drivers, Hardware-Software Integration, Low-level Platform Flows, Java Systems Programming, FPGA & Electronics Collaboration.

Requirements-

• 5 years of proven professional experience dedicated to software development in Java – Mandatory
• Verifiable hands-on experience working within multidisciplinary companies (integrating software with complex machinery, physical products, or hardware components) – Mandatory
• Solid technical background or practical experience working closely with hardware elements, system design, or electronics interface layers – Mandatory
• Proven experience writing low-level platform flows, hardware drivers, or control systems logic – Mandatory
• Deep understanding of multi-threaded application design, execution memory constraints, and high-performance system patterns – Mandatory
• Collaborative engineering mindset with strong communication skills to work effectively with non-software engineering disciplines (FPGA, HW, Systems) – Mandatory
