Position Overview-

• Quantum & Experimental Physicist joining the core Experimental Physics group to pioneer the physical scale-up of next-generation quantum computing platforms.
• Designing, constructing, and optimizing high-precision experimental laboratory setups combining intricate optomechanical structures, fast electronics, and automated control software.
• Leading high-precision measurements and hardware characterization to validate quantum device architectures and photon-atom gate fidelity.
• Translating high-level quantum physics models into practical engineering specifications, defining cross-functional technical requirements for Photonic Chips, Control Systems, Mechanical Engineering, and System Architecture groups.
• Conducting deep academic literature reviews to integrate bleeding-edge physics research into production-grade hardware.
• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Quantum Computing, Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics (AMO), Quantum Optics, Cold Atoms / Ion Traps, Integrated Photonics, Precision Measurements, Optomechanics, System Integration, Laser Infrastructure.

Requirements-

• Ph.D. in Physics from a leading research university – Mandatory
• Core Research Focus: Proven doctoral or post-doctoral research background in at least one of the following domains: AMO, Quantum Optics, Cold Atoms, Photonics, Precision Measurements, or complex Physics System Integration – Mandatory
• Direct Academy Graduates: The company gladly welcomes exceptional candidates transitioning straight from academic research (Ph.D. / Post-Doc) with strong lab autonomy – Highly Encouraged
• Hands-on laboratory proficiency in building complex optical alignments, handling ultra-precise lasers, or managing vacuum/cryogenic physics environments – Mandatory
• Familiarity with standard mechanical, optical, or electronic design software packages (e.g., Zemax, SolidWorks, Altium, MATLAB/Python for lab automation) – Strong Advantage
• Strong collaborative communication skills, with the ability to bridge abstract physical theory with multidisciplinary hardware engineering teams – Mandatory
