We are seeking a Data Science Team Lead to lead a talented team while remaining hands-on with Machine Learning and Generative AI initiatives that make a real business impact. What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of 4 Data Scientists and 1 Data Engineer, providing technical guidance, coaching, and prioritization.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Machine Learning models, from research and experimentation through development, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
• Drive the team's Generative AI strategy by identifying business opportunities and implementing solutions powered by LLMs and other advanced AI technologies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into impactful AI solutions.
• Promote engineering best practices, scalable ML development, and continuous improvement across the team.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience managing a Data Science team or leading a highly technical analytics team.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and deploying Machine Learning models, including predictive modeling, classification, and related techniques.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and practical implementation of AI solutions in business environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience working in the financial services industry is a significant advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Systems thinking, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
