What You’ll Do

• As a Tech Lead at our company, you will be at the forefront of our development efforts, overseeing a team of developers and ensuring the successful delivery of multiple projects. You will leverage your expertise in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and various relational or indexed databases to lead the development of high-quality software solutions. Your role will also involve managing project timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
  
  

• Design and Implement Solutions: Architect and develop robust, scalable software solutions for a diverse range of clients and industries.
• Project Leadership: Lead multiple development projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet business objectives and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Team Management: Oversee a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure high productivity and quality.
• Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively, ensuring that the right skills are applied to the right tasks and that project needs are met efficiently.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress, risks, and issues.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while enforcing coding standards within the team.
• Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
• Technology Advocacy: Stay current with the latest technologies and integrate them into development processes where appropriate.
• Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior developers to ensure they produce high-quality code and adhere to best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure code quality, efficiency, and organization.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert for various aspects of the tech stack, sharing knowledge and fostering a learning environment.
  
  

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in both backend and frontend development.
• 3+ years of experience developing robust and feature-rich web applications.
• Experience working with relational and indexed databases.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
• Excellent understanding of web application architecture and proficiency in OOP programming and design patterns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading development teams.
  
  

• Familiarity with the Wix platform and Wix Velo for server-side development.
• Strong experience with advanced CSS and HTML skills, and ability to create responsive UI.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Good understanding of automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience with cloud-based environments such as AWS, GCP etc..
